Major works:

One of the leading Russian psychologists. Leads an all-round and multi-level analysis of the cognitive and communicative components of general and special abilities (mathematical, linguistic, musical, artistic, and fine art etc.), manifested in different ways in varying conditions of training; and more – in their organic connection with the general abilities and other personal characteristics. The Professor also leads a systematic study of the natural (congenital), mechanisms, ensuring the success of human activity – training, employment and others. On the basis of modern ideas about the nature of information processing, the scientist studies the problem of relation of two signaling systems in the context of the interaction between general and specifically human properties of the nervous system and hemispheric relations. A large proportion of researches covers the practical aspects of the typological concept of addressing the problems of differentiation and individualization of learning. The introduction of education and theoretical approaches of diagnostic methods, that were developed under his leadership in the laboratory of differential psychology and psychophysiology, contribute to the creation of optimal conditions for the development of capabilities, implementation of creative powers of the individual. The author of over 190 scientific papers. The author of the monograph "Language Ability: Psychology, Psychophysiology, Education." Under the leadership of M.K. Kabardova there were defended 11 PhD theses.
