Cultural and recreational activities are formed in the course of an intensive analysis of social and production relationships, and are not isolated from the hobbies and needs of the cultural, socio-political and moral formation of the student. The creative nature of the work produces cognitive activity, promotes self-education. In the sphere of leisure, a person performs a self-valuable separate leisure activity, the basis of the actual motive, which lies in the very activity dictated by the personal needs and interests of the subject. The criterion for determining the levels of leisure activity is the ratio of the subject of this activity to its process &amp;ndash; passive or active. By the way a person spends his/her leisure time, one can say what kind of education he/she obtained, what he/she was interested in, what his/her interests were. In Belgorod region, all kinds of conditions are created for active leisure activities of the younger generation. Participation in all kinds of creatively oriented projects, promotions, festivals, contests, quests, etc. contributes to the development of the student&amp;rsquo;s personal growth.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Еру article is devoted to the problems of formation of positive motivation for young people to independent active pastime, including leisure.
