The article analyzes the key concept of &amp;quot;pedagogical support of the family&amp;quot; from the point of view of various approaches of Russian and foreign researchers. The pedagogical support of the family is viewed as a process of interested observation, counseling, personal participation, and promotion &amp;ndash; the process that provides maximum autonomy of the pupil&amp;#39;s family with minimal participation of the teacher. The aim of pedagogical support of the family is to assist in the formation of pupil&amp;#39;s self-identity, learning independently to solve his/ her problems and to use this experience in the future. The author presents the content of experimental programs and their implementation in the course of solving the problem of pedagogical support of the family in UK schools. As an example of the organization of pedagogical support of the family in the UK school system, a program for parents &amp;quot;Incredible Years&amp;quot; is presented.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is devoted to the experience of organizing the pedagogical support of the family in the UK school system.
