However, in pedagogical theory and practice, this issue is often neglected. Despite the existing publications, there is virtually no research defining the notion &amp;quot;regulatory and legal support for the professional development of young teachers&amp;rdquo;, as well as the essence of such support as a way of their professional development. The paper is aimed at substantiating the concept of &amp;ldquo;regulatory and legal support for the professional development of young teachers&amp;rdquo; and considering the ways of their professional development. The paper presents some results of the analysis of pedagogical and psychological works, statistical data, materials on the issues of professional development of teachers, the application of regulatory legal acts of educational authorities at the institutional, municipal and institutional levels of Transnistria and other countries focused on the professional development of young teachers. It also shares managerial experience of school leaders of the republic. As a result of the study, the concept of &amp;ldquo;regulatory and legal support of the professional development of a young teacher&amp;rdquo; was formulated on the basis of a synthesis of established interpretations close to the term being studied. The advantages and disadvantages of the regulatory legal acts of Transnistria and other countries that contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the professional development of a young teacher are presented. The study for the first time outlined the problem of determining the essence of the concept of &amp;ldquo;regulatory and legal support for the professional development of a young teacher&amp;rdquo;, made it possible to look at this phenomenon from the point of view of its use in education in the conditions of the republican education system, and contributed to the theory and practice of professional development of a young teacher. Besides, the research opens up new theoretical and practical directions in the study of legal means in education.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The professional development of a young teacher is characterized by various aspects, including regulatory and legal support, which plays an important role.
