Its implementation is complicated by the lack of methods by which a young vocalist can learn to work independently on solving the most complex issues of vocal training. Their search should be based on the theoretical principles and conclusions of musical and vocal pedagogy using an integrated approach. The purpose of this article is to study the conditions that contribute to the search and creation of methods for organizing individual work of vocalists. For this purpose, the methods of theoretical research were used: analysis and synthesis. The material of the study was the scientific conclusions and provisions set out in the works of representatives of vocal and musical pedagogy. Based on them, the article identifies the settings that will help in organizing the independent work of a vocalist. They make up the basic components that determine its structure. The most important of them should be recognized as the motivational sphere and strong-willed qualities of the individual, which are the foundation of individual work. The next component is the vocalist&amp;#39;s professional thinking. It is associated with various aspects of the vocal-performing and pedagogical activity of the musician. The facets of professional thinking reflect the ability to solve musical-artistic or vocal-technical problems. The presence of professional knowledge, skills and abilities is another structure of this multi-component complex skill. The next structural element determines the possibility of self-control, which ensures the success of independent work. This ability is based on the ability to analyze your actions. The formation and improvement of the singer&amp;#39;s vocal hearing is of exceptional importance for the adequate performance of this function. It is necessary to note an essential feature of the methods aimed at mastering individual work. They should take into account not only the vocalist&amp;#39;s training, but also their development. Therefore, the methods should affect all aspects of the musician&amp;#39;s personality, providing the necessary level of professional skill, the degree of perfection of vocal hearing, the breadth and subtlety of sensory culture.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Individual work is the most important condition for the professional training of a singer.
