Socio-economic and international geopolitical transformations actualize the problem of practice-oriented training of students of educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, who are first recruited into the internal affairs bodies. A practice-oriented training system for police officers should be carried out mainly on the basis of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which will ensure the formation of a high level of professional readiness for them to communicate and interact with citizens in the process of protecting public order and ensuring public safety. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the effectiveness of the applied orientation of training students of vocational training faculties of educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia through a gaming transformation of the practice of professionally oriented communication. Materials and methods: theoretical &amp;ndash; methods of studying documents, scientific literature, analysis of bibliographic sources; empirical &amp;ndash; methods of questioning, comparison, analogies, methods of quantitative analysis, game learning. Results. The importance of taking into account the training of citizens who came to the system of internal affairs bodies to fulfill the tasks of protecting public order is proved, taking into account a comparative assessment of the level of training of students at the beginning of the training and after its completion. The students showed an increase in the level of understanding and formation of communication skills in the context of professionally oriented activities. Conclusions. The practice-oriented game method of professional communication training provides maximum efficiency in the process of forming a professionally applied orientation of students who are first hired, and have great potential. The trainees who have mastered the course of the training program gain confidence in their preparation, and have clear ideas about professional interaction with citizens.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Introduction.
