The growth of manifestations of deviant behavior, cruelty and aggression in the behavior of minors in Russian society has also affected educational organizations of the country in recent decades, actualizing the search for pedagogical ways to solve this problem. One of the effective means of preventing deviant behavior of students is proposed to consider the purposeful organization of their sports and recreational activities. The purpose of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the model of prevention of deviant behavior of students in educational organizations by means of physical recreation. Methodology and methods. The basis of the study was the description of the results of experimental approbation in 2020-2021 on the basis of 4 educational organizations of Belgorod of the author&amp;#39;s model of prevention of deviant behavior of students in educational organizations by means of physical culture and recreational activities. The methods of research are theoretical analysis and generalization of the results of pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation, questionnaires. Results. The results of the positive dynamics of cognitive-content, motivational-value and effective-practical components of the behavior of students of the experimental group are presented; improvement of such indicators of moral and ethical qualities as benevolence and responsiveness, as well as reduction of conflict. The level of involvement of students in physical culture and recreational activities has significantly increased. The prospects of the study include the possibility of introducing the model into the activities of professional educational organizations in the context of solving the socio-pedagogical problem of preventing deviant behavior of students.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Introduction.
