One of the central problems of spiritual and moral formation of youth personality is the problem of value self-determination in crisis periods, especially in the period of youth worldview crisis, in the context of the study of value choice.&amp;nbsp; The problem of value choice is one of the most important in psychological research and, at the same time, the least studied. At the same time, decision making and realization in the situation of value choice is the basis of value self-determination.&amp;nbsp; The aim of the work is to reveal the structural features of decision-making strategies in the situation of value choice as the basis of value self-determination of student youth. Materials and methods. E.K. Veselova&amp;#39;s projective technique &amp;ldquo;Friend &amp;minus; Counselor &amp;minus; 2&amp;rdquo; was used to study the features of value self-determination and the structure of decision-making strategies in the situation of value choice among student youth. To analyze the empirical material, we used: content analysis, prototypical data analysis according to P. Verges. Results. It was established that the structure of decision-making strategies in a value choice situation in a group of students with genuine value self-determination is represented by stable constructive strategies: specificity and logic of decision-making; the validity of decision-making by moral and legal law, orientation to social norms and values; positive emotions and feelings; in a group of students with a violation of value choices, sustainable non-constructive strategies prevail in the structure of decision-making strategies: rational validity; emotional detachment; unwillingness to be responsible for making a decision in a value choice situation; avoiding following moral laws. Conclusion. Decision-making strategies in a value choice situation are one of the psychological mechanisms that operate both in true value self-determination and in violation of it. Constructive strategies that allow true value self-determination are aimed at &amp;ldquo;working&amp;rdquo; with the problem itself in order to overcome deep conflicts and contradictions. Non-constructive strategies do not allow realizing deep values that are significant for a person and lead to a violation of value self-determination. Awareness of the reality of the presence of unconditional spiritual values, the resolution of internal conflicts with the spiritual Self &amp;ldquo;is&amp;rdquo; the determining condition for the implementation of genuine value self-determination.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Introduction.
