To find the most effective pedagogical conditions for the formation of adequate self-esteem in children of senior preschool age, it is necessary to conduct a preliminary study of the existing situation on the basis of preschool. The purpose of the article: to analyze the existing pedagogical conditions of formation of adequate self-esteem in children of senior preschool age. Materials and methods. Within the framework of the study the results of questionnaire survey with the help of the author&amp;#39;s questionnaire of 45 teachers of preschools were evaluated. The experimental base of the study was preschool institutions: DENIMAL Early Childhood Development Center, Kindergarten № 188 and Kindergarten № 30, located in different regions of the Russian Federation. Results. It was found that the child&amp;#39;s ability to evaluate his/her actions and behavior is least realized in the organization of such types of children&amp;#39;s activities in preschool institutions as cognitive-research (2.1 points) and musical (2.2 points). Pedagogical condition in the format of freedom of choice, making independent decisions, showing one&amp;#39;s own initiative and creativity is realized to the least extent in the organization and implementation of such types of activities as perception of fiction and folklore (3.4 points) and in musical activities (3.2 points). Pedagogical condition in the form of individual response of the teacher to the behavior of children with insufficiently adequate self-esteem, as well as actions to overcome low or overestimated self-esteem of children is implemented at a low level in all analyzed preschools. Individual work with parents in cases when a child demonstrates insufficiently adequate self-esteem is rarely and haphazardly carried out in all analyzed preschools. Conclusion. The data on the peculiarities and general trends in the Implementation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of adequate self-esteem in older preschool children on the basis of preschools of different regions were obtained. It is necessary to optimize pedagogical conditions and methods of forming adequate self-esteem in children in the analyzed preschool institutions.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Introduction.
