Introduction. A National Research University’s anniversary is always an occasion to reflect on the path traveled. The specifics of the current historical moment require universities to move away from the role of insular academic institutions and transition toward a partnership ecosystem. The article aims to conceptualize the development of the Pedagogical Institute at NRU “BelSU” into a partnership ecosystem and to unify the authors' original studies through the shared logic of fostering a new quality of regional human capital. Materials and Methods. The empirical basis consists of 14 original research articles accepted for publication in this thematic issue. Key methods included content analysis, taxonomic classification of interaction models, expert-analytical synthesis, and secondary analysis of regulatory documents. Results. The study substantiates the premise that modern pedagogical science cannot develop in isolation from the demands of the real economy and pressing social challenges. It establishes the multilevel integration of the pedagogical institute, fundamental science, school education, public policy, and industry needs. The partnership types within the ecosystem are identified: elite sports and rehabilitation; secondary vocational education; private supplementary education; and public school education (including the experience of the Higher School of Pedagogy). Conclusion. Today, the University, the Pedagogical Institute, and the industry act as equal partners in the established knowledge transfer system − a shift from classical didactics to a partnership ecosystem.
