Currently, there is an increase in the number of adults in Russia with musculoskeletal system disorders (MSDs) sustained during the Special Military Operation. This requires the creation of a modern, comprehensive rehabilitation system aimed at accelerating the socialisation and integration of disabled people, as well as developing and searching for the most effective methods. The use of effective means of adaptive physical culture and sports makes it possible to compensate for lost functions as much as possible by creating new movement patterns. At the same time, a system of psychological attitudes is formed, which makes it possible to create conditions for successfully overcoming social isolation. The aim of the study is to assess the satisfaction of volleyball team players who suffered musculoskeletal injuries as a result of participating in the Special Military Operation (SMO) with the organization of the training process, and to determine their need for psychological support during the rehabilitation process. Methodology and methods. The study was based on the main concepts of the theory and methodology of adaptive physical culture and adaptive sports, as well as the principles of person‑centered learning and psychological and pedagogical support. Information was collected and analyzed regarding the level of satisfaction of the sitting volleyball team with the organization of the training process. The following methods were used: theoretical (analysis of scientific and methodological literature) and empirical (pedagogical observation, questionnaires). Results. An analysis of a survey of 10 athletes, participants of the SMO with an ODE defeat, confirmed the steady interest of players with ODE defeats in sitting volleyball. The main motives of the classes are revealed: maintaining physical fitness, continuing sports and participating in competitions. Almost all athletes chose the desire to win as their main motive for participating in competitions. The technical elements that cause the greatest difficulties were identified. It was noted that playing volleyball is highly important for successful adaptation in society, fostering team spirit, and strengthening bonds both within the team and with family members and close associates of the athletes. Conclusion: The survey results make it possible to identify shortcomings in the organization of the training process and allow for an individual approach to the players of the sitting volleyball team, taking into account their functional and socio‑psychological characteristics.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Introduction.
