A huge amount of works is devoted to the studies of this phenomenon. Each of them examines various aspects of this phenomenon. In this research, the formation of personality of the future engineer-teacher is examined in the context of cognitive processes activation, both in the training of future engineers-teachers and professional activities. In the process of training of teachers for professional education system, &amp;ldquo;activity&amp;rdquo; is a core concept in future engineers-teachers personality formation, as it most fully characterizes both the personality, the cognition process and the creative approach to interpretation and presentation of knowledge to students. We understand the engineer-teacher and the personality as synonymous concepts, which cannot exist without active cognitive positions throughout life.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The issue of personality formation of instructors teaching engineering disciplines, particularly, the engineer-teacher, has been widely discussed in the pedagogical, philosophical and psychological literature.
