According to the results, there are significant differences in the self-regulation processes of the tested subjects with different variants of lateral profiles and common peculiarities of these processes of people having similar variants of lateral profiles. The data received may be used in vocational guidance purposes, in educational activity optimization, in implementation of differentiated education principals as well as in the the classes aimed at improvement of self-regulation.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is an attempt to study the interconnection of values of interhemispheric asymmetry with the peculiarities of self-regulation in university students.
