Department of pedagogy and school: results and prospects for cooperation

The Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Psychology of the Pedagogical Institute of Belgorod State National Research University are celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2020. Throughout the time, the activities of the members of the Department of Pedagogy have been contributing to gathering reliable staff of educational organizations of all types of the Belgorod region, as well as the governing bodies of the region's education system. The aim of the study was to conduct a retrospective analysis of the experience of cooperation between the Department of Pedagogy and the school, identify problems and prospects for their interaction based on the content analysis of documents and personal experience. As a result, the article describes the experience of the collaboration of the Department of Pedagogy with scientists, educators and practitioners of Russia and abroad; substantiates the contribution of the achievements of advanced pedagogical science for the development of residential institutions in the region. Particular attention is paid to the description of the experience of creating unified educational spaces in the Belgorod region; ensuring the continuous development of the secondary school in the village of Golovchino in the Grayvoronsky district during the implementation of various projects aimed at transferring the school to a development mode; individual accompaniment of students; implementation in schools of the Federal State Educational Standard (FGOS-3), project activities; modernization of preschool education; supporting gifted children; introducing mentoring; the creation of associations of university students and others. The author analyzes the results of the work in collaboration with the Belovskaya secondary school of the Belgorod district of the Belgorod region, the Aidar secondary school of the Rovenki district, the secondary school of Novy Oskol in the Belgorod region, the Starobezginsky secondary school of the Novooskolsky district. In conclusion, the results are summarized, problems and prospects of cooperation between the department of pedagogy and school are determined.
