Major works:

A well-known Soviet and Russian scientist in the field of pedagogical sciences, one of the founders of the "Methodology of Pedagogy" scientific school. The author of over 230 scientific works, including 18 books, monographs and dictionaries. Over 70 articles dedicated to methodology of pedagogy were published in journals included into the list of the RF Higher Attestation Commission, including 29 articles in the journalы "Soviet Pedagogy", "Education", an article in the Russian Pedagogical Encyclopedia and others. 25 works were published (translated) in the US, Germany, China, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Mongolia, Hungary, Armenia, Georgia and Lithuania. Under the scientific editorship of V.M. Polonsky, there were published collections and a set of training manuals on methodology of pedagogy.
