ROFESSIONAL APPROACH IN TRAINING OF TEACHERS, WORKING WITH THE SUBJECTS OF RELIGION IN MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS

Teaching of religion-related subjects in middle and high schools re-quires a deeper scientific approach, that is because many concepts and phenomena associated with religion have a controversial meaning and are differently interpreted. The article covers some crucial aspects, which should be taken into consideration during the process of training the lecturers and teachers of religious studies. The author emphasizes the role of spiritual intelligence of teachers, which is a fundamental element for building the culture of tolerance in students.
