PSYCHOLOGICAL SPECIFICS OF SELF-ACTUALIZATION OF YOUNG MEN FROM FAMILIES OF DIFFERENT TYPE
The article presents the results of a comparative research of the level and components of self-actualization of young men – pupils of high school. The research was conducted with the use of "The Self-actualization Test" technique by E. Shostrom (SAT), adapted by Yu.E. Alyoshina, L.Ya. Gozman, M.V. Zagik, M.V. Kroz's. Besides, there was applied the nonparametric statistical method – Mann-Whitney's U-criterion. Data processing was carried out in the SPSS 22 program. Interpretation was carried out both at the level of concrete scales, and on blocks of the self-actualization test that allowed to come to the new level of generalization and to allocate the most problematic areas of personal development of young men from incomplete families. In particular, the authors noted the specifics of indicators of the level of self-actualization, perceptions of time, character support from a social environment, the general and interpersonal sensitivity and self-perception. The obtained results can be used in the course of psychological assistance to children from incomplete families and also in educational work of school or professional educational institution, with pupils of this category.
