THE PROBLEMS OF PROFESSIONAL READINESS OF FUTURE TEACHERS FOR EDUCATIONAL WORK IN THE NEW SOCIO-CULTURAL CONDITIONS

Current socio-cultural situation imposes a certain imprint on the formation of the personality of the modern teacher and his/ her readiness for the educational process in general. In this connection, the educational process of the university, the professional preparation of the future teacher and his/ her self-improvement are significantly changing. The aim of the article is to reveal the problem of the modern preparation of future teachers for educational work in school. The article presents the analysis of the level of readiness of today's student-teacher, and the analysis of scientific and methodical literature. Particular attention is paid to the influence of the current socio-cultural situation on the development of the teacher's personality and his/ her readiness for education. The article describes the main definitions of the training process: education, effectiveness of education, teacher's readiness for education. The authors reveal the results of the ascertaining experiment. The article considers what basic skills a teacher-educator should have: project design, communication, research, diagnostic, as well as the basic conditions for the future teacher's readiness for education. As a result, the authors come to the conclusion that the program of general preparation of future teachers for education should contain modernization of the disciplines of the psychological and pedagogical cycle: "Pedagogy and psychology"; introduction to the curriculum of pedagogical specialtiesan updated special course "Methodology of training"; introduction of a complex of innovative technologies and interactive methods that promote the formation of practical skills in education and their introduction into the educational process of pedagogical directions.
