The experience of cooperation between the Department of Journalism and a core enterprise (on the example of Ogarev Mordovia State University and GTRK “Mordovia”)
The article discusses the direction of cooperation between universities and core enterprises in the training of qualified specialists. The pertinence of the study stems from the fact that it summarizes and systematizes the results of the experience of interaction between the core enterprise and the university, which can form the basis of methods for improving a jointly organized educational process. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the functioning of the basic departments of journalism in general and to review the experience of cooperation of the Department of Journalism of Ogarev Mordovia State University and the State TV and Radio Company “Mordovia”. Due to the lack of a primary research base devoted specifically to the consideration of the experience of cooperation between core enterprises and journalism departments /faculties, we had to use the following methods: the methods of description and analysis, a survey of the 1st year students and the method of analyzing documents, secondary statistical data, and the forecasting method. The work summarizes the five-year cooperation of the Department of Journalism of Ogarev Mordovia State University and the core enterprise – a branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise GTRK Mordovia. The authors consider the areas of joint work and elaborate on the methodology for organizing laboratory classes, master classes and independent work for students in the television and radio company. The use of educational technologies that provide flexibility and individualization of the learning process is noted. The solutions to improve the training of competitive employees in the field of journalism are presented. The article also considers such forms of as participation in the development and implementation of basic professional educational programs, participation in the development and approval of graduate qualifications, peer review, scientific guidance, advanced training, publication of scientific articles and study guides, recommendations for improving curricula, career guidance, conducting joint scientific and practical events, etc. At the same time, the shortcomings were examined and prospects for cooperation were outlined, which could ultimately lead to narrowing the gap between the educational process and the professional activities of future journalists, and ultimately to improve the quality and competitiveness of all Russian education.
