Individual educational trajectory of students in the system of development of their personal potential
Introduction. Development of the personal potential of a student is a condition for the formation of an active member of society, capable of solving problems and adapting to changing conditions of life. In the scientific literature, when studying the personal potential of a student, there are discrepancies in the structure, relationship with related categories, stages of development of personal potential. The purpose of the work is to identify the functional structure of the system of development of the personal potential of a student from the position of desire, readiness, ability, opportunities and motivation for such development on the part of the student himself/herself. Materials and methods. Theory and practice, as well as the findings of research carried out by leading universities and the author's own experience, were all used to inform the results. The method of expert assessments, comparative analysis, synthesis, and the results of sociological surveys were used. The methodological basis of the study was the study of the system of development of the personal potential of a student through the prism of structural and semantic elements of the system embodied in the individual educational trajectory of the student. Results. It was revealed that the system of development of the personal potential of the university student is determined by the ratio of structural elements (trajectory stages) − the university; project workshops, centers, clubs; teams and individual researchers; personnel reserve, − and its semantic (substantive) elements − desire, readiness, ability, opportunities and conditions, motivation for such development on the part of the student himself. The structural elements are presented in the order reflecting the movement along the individual educational trajectory of increasingly motivated students. It was determined that the most important are the opportunities and conditions of activity, motivation: that is, exactly what a modern university can provide. The results of a study of the experience of modern universities in the field of providing opportunities and conditions for students' activities are presented. Conclusion. The proposed approach to defining the system of development of the student's personal potential can be used to improve the university ecosystem as a whole, in the process of developing and improving the directions and methods of organizing all types of student work.
