Gender differences in behavioral deviations among early adolescents
Introduction. The process of psychological and pedagogical support for the socialization of adolescents requires the use of special methods for the prevention of deviant behavior among adolescents. This article examines a range of behavioral deviations in young adolescents, taking into account the gender aspect, which indicates an increase in problems of the mental and social well-being of students. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively examine the deviant behavior of young adolescents, studying the representation of deviations in gender groups for the planning and implementation of psychological and pedagogical support in educational institutions. Materials and methods. The study is based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, empirical data from practical research on deviations in adolescent behavior, systematization of the results of psychodiagnostic methods, and methods for interpreting quantitative and qualitative information. Results. Gender analysis made it possible to differentiate the representation of deviant behavior by category and degree of severity of deviations. The identified gender-specific patterns of behavioral deviations in adolescence necessitate the development of differentiated prevention programs that take into account the specific manifestations of deviant behavior in representatives of both sexes. Conclusion. The identified behavioral anomalies in adolescents justify the optimization of the system of psychological and pedagogical support for the socialization of the younger generation, involving specialists in related fields. When developing programs for the prevention of deviant behavior among adolescents, it is necessary to consider factors that contribute to the development of deviance, such as social and cultural norms, family role structures, parenting styles, ethnic stereotypes, general ideas about masculinity and femininity, and endocrine changes in the adolescent body.
