PERSONALIA IN RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING: F.M. DOSTOEVSKY

The article deals with the problem of personalia, important for teaching Russian as a foreign language. Personalia are representatives of the Russian world, the knowledge of which is necessary for the formation of social competence of foreign students. There are three aspects of this problem: selection of personalia, selection of information about each personality, organization of learning information about personalities. The authors demonstrate the variant of the solution of the two latter aspects of this problem on the base of information about the life and works of F.M. Dostoevsky. The article presents educational materials which contain extracts from the works of F.M. Dostoevsky and microtexts that can accompany them in the learning process. The techniques of teaching are based on the theory of problem-based learning. The extracts are divided into three thematic groups: human nature, superman, Russian people. The use of educational materials in the learning process forms the students' interest in the works of Dostoevsky and contributes to the development of their intercultural competence.
